Cleaning out drawers during lockdown, I found agendas from 1997-2008 with spare notations counting vacation day accruals from my day job and careful recordings of back-to-back appointments with family and friends during yearly visits to Sweden. Seeing a decade of my life reduced to a little over 2 months of active life was shocking and deserving of a second life. I created collages of the agenda pages creating a new series – “Remembrance”. In the long run, it seems much of life is either lost in memory fog or reduced to a few entries around doctors’ appointments and flights taken.
